BMW returns to the 24 Hours of Le Mans
BMW M Motorsport is back at Le Mans
The 24-hour race in Le Mans known as 24 Heures du Mans is a motorsport.
BMW is set to line up alongside Toyota, Peugeot, Porsche, Ferrari, Glickenhaus, Cadillac, Lamborghini, and Alpine in the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).
The German manufacturer will field a pair of M Hybrid V8 LMDh cars in the Hypercar class, marking its return to the top level of endurance racing for the first time since 1999.
BMW M Motorsport last won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1999 with the V12 LMR.
The 2024 24 Hours of Le Mans will be held on June 12-16.
